CAMotion completed the design, installation, and commissioning of their Supervisory Control System (SCS) for Novelis Inc., a leading manufacturer of aluminum sheet products. The principal feature of the SCS is that it accepts payload transfer commands from a supervising operator. Then, the system automatically drives the SCS-enabled crane to execute the operator's directives. The SCS-enabled crane automatically avoids workspace obstructions, takes the most time-efficient path, reduces payload swing, and positions payloads within an inch of desired positions.

CAMotion now offers the latest edition to their palletizing line: a Variable-Height Bundle Palletizer (VHBP).  The VHBP is designed as a end-of-bindery-line solution for the print industry. The high-speed robotic gantry accepts conveyed print material of varying dimension, and rapidly palletizes the bundles with configurable patterns.

CAMotion has recently delivered and installed two of the new robotic case packing systems (pictured below). The "SmartPacker" system is designed for the case ready meat market and packs net weight and overwrap case ready trays into totes at up to 90 trays per minute and sells for under $90,000.
